About us
Naturland is the world’s largest international organic association and has been pioneering the development of organic farming in Germany, Europe and worldwide for 40 years.
Following a holistic approach, Naturland was the first organic association to introduce social standards as a mandatory element of organic certification, supplemented by the organic plus fair-trade standard: Naturland Fair. Today, some 125,000 farmers from 60 countries work according to the Naturland standards. The majority of Naturland farmers around the world are organized in small farming cooperatives and producer associations.

The Naturland Academy provides learning opportunities and multilingual e-learning courses on organic farming, social responsibility and fair trade. We are constantly:
- developing new resources such as crop guides, fact sheets, videos to accelerate knowledge related to organic farming,
- delivering online seminars,
- creating self and cohort-paced web-based courses,
- implementing face-to-face trainings all around the world to many different topics
With our capacity development initiatives and e-learning courses we want to support our members and interested farmers to improve their skills and are tailored to country, climate & crop specific needs. On top of that, we want to enable and empower our members and others to be well equipped to face the global challenges farmers all around the globe are confronted with.
Our learning initiatives and e-learning courses are free of charge for our members and many others.
